The solar screens are installed to first fix brackets Behind the cladding line the Panels are in centre To suit the window mullions with several panel sizes across each elevation as required.

On the end bays a blanking arm was installed to allow the end fixings to be hidden.

The Brise Soleil Panels have all been mitred in cassette form for installation to a main solar rafter. The main rafters have been installed to follow the breaks in the curtain walling system.

The leading fascia is a continuous tube Separate to the modular system of the panels.

The installation to a curved steel section was by way of a first fix bracket. The second fix secured to the main rafter arms by laser cut solar rafters. The leading fascia was curved to follow the structure line.

The timber solar assembly was produced with FSC registered suppliers and fire treated before application.

The moisture content of the Kiln Dried product was measured from leaving the factory to arriving on site for installation.

All fixings have been provided in A” stainless to follow the design intent of the brushed stainless frame.

The installation of the Western Red Cedar solar shading
system was spanned 6500mm from column to column. This was achieved with the application of a Brushed Stainless Steel box section welded assembly which in turn connected to site attached brackets welded to the structure.

On a project with many metres of aerofoil this did make an eye catching entrance to the building.
