The Brise Soleil was supported by a first fix bracket supplied by LouvreSol and installed to the structure steels. The walkway was secure in location by a ‘Quick Release’ clamp which was vital for the gutter clearance of debris for the maintenance teams. The LouvreSol Brise Soleil design was derived from several site meetings to ensure the correct visual impact was achieved.
All aluminium components had a Silver Anodised Finish to AA25 with a 25 year Performance Guarantee issued.
Two Elevations were installed with the Lunar 300 to two floor levels to ensure of complete solar protection. The installation of the Brise Soleil system was managed from MEWP without requirements for a crane on site.
All fixings for this project were self coloured Stainless Steel.
The Solar system had two different assemblies in respect of blade quantities in the drape. LouvreSol engineered the project and advised steel requirements to ensure that all levels remained constant with regards to the bottom of the system.
In conjunction with this the design interface with the cladding companies gutter and panel system was critical with regards to joint tolerances.
